Do You Possess Unshakeable Confidence?

Let's cut to the chase - ask this question for yourself:

"How confident do you feel?"

What happens in your body as you answer this? Do you feel some butterflies in your stomach or does your heart skip a few beats? Experience a little hesitancy in your voice? Perhaps you aren't sure how to answer because you feel totally confident in one area of your life or business but riddled with doubt in another?

If so, you're not alone. Most people have some sort of visceral reaction to it. Why? Most people fear acknowledging their brilliance and shining their light. In practical terms that means being fully confident in who you are. We all play lots of roles in our lives, but it is confidence at the core, that feeling of being comfortable in our own skin that separates those who thrive from those who spend their lives struggling to create the results they most want to experience.

What would you do if you had more confidence? Would you:

* Be a more powerful networker?

* Fire a less than ideal client?

* Ask for a raise from your employer or increase your fees?

* Confidently say no?

* Change careers?

* End a relationship that has run its course?

The list can go on, but I am here to tell you that almost every decision you want or need to make in your life and business comes down not to getting more information, but stepping into a level of certainty and self-assurance within YOU. This truth is even truer in situations or times that feel the most uncertain. For many, today's times, today's economy is those very times. There is a reason you are experiencing what you are experiencing right now. There is a reason you are reading this article. What is wanting to emerge?

Does the answer frighten you? It is perfectly normal. It is OK. I am confident you have all you need within you to birth your best life and business (or up-level the one you already have). It just needs to step forward. It can only do that from the rooted and rich soil of confidence. While confidence ultimately comes from within, for almost all of us (me included) it takes cultivation and support from others who can inspire and guide us to new levels of confidence in who we are and what we do.

Paragon Biomedical Executive Anticipates Surge of Collaborations in Clinical Research

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - November 17, 2009) - The economic forces that initiated major restructuring throughout the global clinical research industry also sparked a strong sense of shared purpose and community, according to a Paragon Biomedical executive.

The collaborative spirit was evident during formal presentations and informal conversations at the recent Partnerships in Clinical Trials conference in Rotterdam, according to Clareece West, Vice President of Global Business Development at Paragon.

Like the rest of the global economy, the clinical research industry has struggled over the past 18 months, according to West.

"But we've seen, especially within the last quarter, the beginning of a very subtle turnaround," she said. "And what makes this positive development even more reassuring is the growing sense that we are all in this together, and that by building genuinely collaborative relationships, we'll emerge stronger than before," she said.

West said her perceptions were validated during conversations she and her Paragon colleagues had at the recent conference, which is one of the European clinical research industry's largest.

"Clients and vendors talked with us about plans for branching out in 2010," she said. "Much of the expansion will occur in newer emerging regions that will leverage collaborative relationships between Sponsors and CROs."

West said the collaborative approach has been central to Paragon's success since the company's inception.

"For example, Paragon still works with our very first client," said West. "In fact, 2009 marks our 20-year anniversary with them and one of the main reasons we've been together for so long is our shared commitment to each other."

Paragon Biomedical is a global, full-service, woman-owned clinical research organization (CRO) providing Phase I through IV clinical research services and support to the world's pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.

Insurance Coverage for Your Dance Studio

Dancing is an amazing way to exercise as well as to express oneself. It is one of the few ways to burn calories and have fun at the same time. This is one of the reasons people are getting so excited about learning the art of dance. From reality television to ballet recitals, dance is all around us and doesn't look like it has any intention of leaving.

As the business owner, you may be wondering if having insurance for your dance studio important. The answer to that question is absolutely yes. It's the best way to protect yourself from any financial losses which you might incur due to property damages or a liability claim if a dancer happens to get injured. Lawsuits is not everyone's cup of tea but is a very real possibility. You also need to think about medical bills and repairs to your studio among other things. If your dance studio is uninsured, then this is money that will have to come from somewhere.. Probably your very own pocket. Face it, in today's world, this could cost you lots of money.

Some of the things to consider when looking for an appropriate insurance coverage are:

- Contents and Equipment

- Building

- Business Interruptions

- Employer Liability

- Public Liability

There are many different choices to make to find a great dance studio insurance. Make sure you select the one that meets all the needs of you and your business.

Consider the following:

- Does the insurance company provide a complete coverage for your studio?

- Do they specialize in dance studios?

- Will they expand your coverage if you plan a special event in your studio?

- What about your staff? Are they covered as well?

- Are they able to recommend ways to make your environment safer as well as help save you money?

If the studio is part of your home, you will still need to get special coverage. Normal homeowners insurance will not cover accidents that occur in your basement if your basement provides you income.

You have established that you need insurance and the coverage that suits you best. The next step is to start shopping. Different companies offer varied options to choose from as well as differences in prices. If you have your homeowners and car insurance with one carrier, give them a call. Several companies offer discounts to multiple policy holders. Make sure you are protecting yourself as well as your pocket.

Dance studio insurance can be compared to dancing shoes. A good one will lead you through a smooth performance.

The Importance of Office Décor!

Just walk into any major company’s office building and you can see how important reception areas are. It may seem a little over the top to say this, but reception areas truly are the place where a company can show visitors who they are. First impressions are important and for this purpose the reception area needs to be of a first class appearance.

You want to give off an ambiance that represents the company’s mission statement and morale. If you want your visitors to feel a certain way about your company, then you must create that feeling in your welcome area.

For example, hotels and attorney’s have very different styles in their reception areas because they have very different businesses.

A hotel will want their visitors to feel welcome and at home. A law office will want their visitors to feel like the lawyers are successful, both to gain the trust of their clients as well as intimidate their opponents.

Many offices will ensure that their reception area, and perhaps a conference room, is immaculately decorated. Then the rest of their office is the same boring bare-wall, row of doors as anywhere else. However, most guests will only see a small part of the office area and will therefore leave with a good impression of the company.

There are some key points to be remembered when decorating a reception area.

One of the most important things is to have a comfortable seating area. Make sure that there is something for the guests to read while waiting as well as having a phone available for their convenience.

Next, choose a design theme that personifies the company. Architects will include parts of their trade into their decorations.

If you have a receptionist, then their work space must be included in the design process. Many times, corner computer desks are chosen for receptionists because of the efficient way the utilize space.

Sales Recruitment and Training

Whether someone has a special talent for a given professional field or is especially interested in how it operates and changes through time, the ability to truly excel in a position is usually heavily dependent on the quality of any training that is received. This is especially true in the world of sales, where myriad techniques and theories exist and grow in an effort to help companies attract more partners and customers, igniting the international engines of commerce and trade. While the high motivation and outgoing communication skills of a potentially phenomenal salesperson are often as easily identified as an exceptional sales position itself, understanding how a job candidate might need to be trained to achieve their full potential can be difficult for even the most thorough of companies and hiring teams. Likewise, salespeople entering new jobs may find themselves unsure of how to apply their skills and knowledge at first, leading to lost time and prospective sales as effort is poured into preparing. Sales recruitment companies provide a clear solution to such problems, and are often able to ensure that jobs are filled and begun with the best possible chances for success through effective training.

As part of a quality sales recruitment service, training can take place either before or after placement, though many companies and employees alike are bound to find that training after placement is the most rewarding and meaningful method with which to work. Sales recruitment teams with post-placement training services can be of extraordinary benefit to employers, many of which suffer substantial losses when filling positions due to compulsory training and adjustment periods. Training as delivered through a sales recruitment firm can ensure that the basics of excellent sales, along with techniques pertinent to the individual position, are introduced and absorbed quickly and efficiently, leading to faster and more numerous sales.

Salespeople themselves can appreciate the advantages of training through a sales recruitment team, as the methods and concepts covered can apply to the field in its multitude of forms and serve as the basis for a solid understanding of sourcing sales opportunities and closing deals. Through participation in sales recruitment training while starting a new position, salespeople can instantly apply their lessons and incorporate new ideas, resulting in positive outcomes that can be expanded and improved with personal effort and time. Undergoing the process of sales recruitment training can help take the initial confusion and length adjustment out of employment, leading to the rapid establishment of a quality sales record and providing a great foundation upon which to launch an extraordinary career.

Choosing to work with a sales recruitment company that provides extensive and practical training is a great way for companies and job seekers to move past the difficulties typically associated with filling open positions. With the perfect combination of motivation and practiced skill gleaned from quality training, salespeople and their employers can and do achieve amazing things.

Leave Something on the Table

JOHN AND JENNIFER ARE NEGOTIATING. Jennifer is pushing to suck every last drop out of the deal. She smiles and excuses herself by saying, “I just wanted to make sure I don’t leave anything on the table. You can’t blame a girl for trying.”

Leave something!

“Yes, Jennifer, I can blame you. I can blame you for not allowing us both to win. I can blame you for never wanting to do business with you again. Thank you. I hope to never deal with you again and I’ll be sure to let anyone I do business with know the same.”

Though these words are not said aloud, you can be sure John means every bit of it behind his cold smile and slow nod.

Who, then, is the loser in this negotiation?

I believe you should leave something on the table. When you are hoping to deal with someone again, leave a little on the table. When you want someone to speak highly of you, leave a little for him. When you want someone to become your ally and friend, be sure the deal is good for him too.

If your own reputation means nothing to you and you’re more concerned with acting like a “hard-core” businessman, squeeze all you can out of the deal. It’s easy to do! Just demand the very most for the very least in return. Grab and squeeze.

Becoming a person to whom other enjoy giving a bargain is more difficult. First you have to find out what it is the other person wants most out of the deal. Once you’ve uncovered this, don’t dangle it in front of him like a carrot. Simply make the concession immediately and with no strings attached, then with a smile ask plainly for the thing that’s most important to you.

Typically, a mutually beneficial relationship will result, and you’ll also have gained a friend who will be there for you the next time you need him.

Will you fight the whole world alone, or will you win an army of friends?

No one stands long on the battlefield who has not built an army of friends.
To make an enemy you friend is easy. Simply do what a friend would do.
“I will destroy my enemies by converting them to friends.” – Maimonides

Semiconductor Technology - Assumptions Behind Various Of These Products

Semiconductors will not work if they do not possess electrical conductivity. The method takes place in the conductor's linkage with the insulator. This is perhaps the most principal among all the principles behind semiconductor technology. But behind that fundamental fact, there are other assumptions to consider. That will already rely on the kinds of semiconductors used by the business.

Semiconductors are very significant in technological advancements especially in mobile phone, computer, television and radio production. Transistor manufacturing is also one business served by these goods. In order to understand more about semiconductor technology, it pays to take a glimpse at its four kinds.

The intrinsic semiconductor

Intrinsic semiconductors are defined as the purest among a list of semiconductor kinds. There are thermal materials within this part that enables lessening of covalent bonds while electrons are freed. From that very critical aspect of the technology, the intrinsic semiconductor extends its work by going to a solid mass thus supporting the conductivity levels of the electric part. When the covalent bonds lose their corresponding electrons, the electrical capabilities of the semiconductor gets very much afflicted.

The extrinsic semiconductor

Besides the intrinsic semiconductor there is also the extrinsic semiconductor. Unlike the intrinsic version, the semiconductor technology for extrinsic semiconductors rely upon doped or additional particles. With this background, it is also known as a doped semiconductor. The additional particles play a crucial role in changing the conductivity traits of the electrical component.

Take a glimpse at this example of extrinsic semiconductor. Silicon, the most common semiconductor, may be utilized in order to produce a gadget. Each atom of silicon shares four kinds of valence electrons through covalent bonding. If silicon will be replaced by five valence electrons of phosphorous, four of the covalence electrons will be put together while the remaining one will be free.

Classifications of extrinsic semiconductors - N-type and the P- type

Completing the four types of semiconductors are the two subcategories for extrinsic semiconductors. These ones are regarded as the N-type and P-type semiconductors. The N-type is comprised of electrons and holes. The first one plays as majority carriers while the latter plays as minority carriers. This signifies that the electron's concentrations are more than that of the holes.

As for the P-type semiconductor, it plays opposite functions with that of the N-type. This manifests that it follows a semiconductor technology where the holes are majority carriers as the electrons play as minority carriers. There are scenarios when the P-N Junction is created though. This one is that instance when an N-type semiconductor may be produced at one side of the component while producing a P-type on the other side.
