Aggressive Marketing

If you get an email with a title like 'Don't Ever Trust Me Again!' and continue along the lines of '... then you don't have to take my advice ever again!'

My advice is - Don't *

Perhaps it's because I'm skeptical of the number of "miracle" products, "great deals", 'limited time offers' or 'incredible packages' that are advertised online every day. Perhaps it's because I have bought more products than I can possibly use for now. Perhaps it's because there are probably more people trying to sell this particular package than the number of packages that are available. Or, perhaps it's because I received an email with almost identical content from too many different sources. Whatever the reason, don't make the same mistakes as I have in the past.

* It may be a good deal. It may be exactly what you are looking for. But if you receive emails with exactly the same content from different sources, think carefully before you buy. There are some good internet marketers that I have every respect for. However, there are an increasing number of 'marketers' that show little thought or consideration for others. They will take from you but offer nothing in return. You may disagree with the last statement. If you buy a product from them and you are happy with that product and they are happy with the money earned from selling you that product it's a win-win situation.

That's all well and good until you look more closely at the process. To do this, other factors must be taken into account. These include cost, value, convenience, time, and most importantly trust. You've probably heard of the phrase. "The money is in the list". I wouldn't disagree with that and it's easy to see why many of the "big list" hitters are successful in the percentage game. But unless they offer you something more than somebody else's 'sales pitch' ignore them. Many of these people come and go. Make sure they don't go with your money.

With regard to the email in question, here is a quote from a 'trusted' ezine that I subscribe to "This is only of interest to you, Bryan, if you really need some brand new products to sell. If not, don't bother." At least, this is honest and straight to the point. I know who I'd buy from. On occasion, time may be more important than trust. If this is the case, then make sure you have a use for the product before you buy it. We are all guilty of impulse buying. It can be all too easy to buy something that will seldom, if ever, be used.

If you subscribe to an ezine or newsletter, it's often useful to keep tabs on the sender. By doing this you will learn to recognize if the content is original or simply a copy of someone else's work. You'll also quickly discover if the sender is only interested in using you as a means of earning a 'fast buck'. This is obvious if there is little or no content, excessive affiliate URLs, or emails that are repetitive or delivered more often than necessary.

If you like the newsletter or email subscription, that's great. If you don't, you can usually 'unsubscribe'. If this fails, then try 'whitelist' filtering to weed it out. If you think the email is from a spammer, then be careful. Don't click on any URL or 'unsubscribe' option, and unless you are absolutely sure of the originator, never open an attachment.

If you use eBay or PayPal, you will no doubt be aware of the fake or spoof emails that are periodically blasted out. Well, the spin cycle has begun again.

Tip - If you have your own website, don't use your default address for your PayPal or eBay account. Use a different address and you will quickly spot the spoof email in the 'To' line of the email.

What Do You Choose?

In every moment of your life, lies a decision. And, it's the culmination of these decisions that brought you to where you are today.

You may be thinking you're thrilled with where you are today and you wouldn't change a thing; however, I have a feeling the majority of you reading this article realize there's more to life than where you are right now. And, many of you are looking for ways to experience more of your ama^zing self... you want to realize your FULL potential as a human being, and as a conscious entrepreneur.

So, I ask you this, "Are you making consistent CHOICES that are helping you realize your full potential as a human being, and as an entrepreneur?" Or, are you letting old habits or patterns and fear-based thinking guide the choices you make.

Answer this question for yourself now. Take a moment to think about a decision you've made in the past week. It can be any decision that has some "energy" around it. Allow yourself to step aside and observe yourself and the process you went through in coming to the decision. And, notice what guided your thoughts as you moved through the process. It's likely you either don't know what your thought process was and you just made the decision based on your former decision making patterns. Or, maybe you're seeing what your thought process was and realize it may have had some old "baggage/fear" attached to it.

Since unconsciousness and fear are never good things to bring into making a decision, I want to share with you a few guiding questions you can use the next time you are facing a choice These guiding questions are for any choice you have to make, not only the "big" ones. So, begin using them today and you'll find a lot more peace in the process.

1) What do you really want? Often times when it comes to making a decision, it's easy to forget about what you really want. Old patterns and habits can cause you to think about what you should do, rather than what you want to do. It's important you take notice here to determine if you're making a decision out of a "should" or a "want." It's always better to decide out of your wants, because if you get wrapped up in the "shoulds" you'll make decisions that bring you further away from expressing who you really are.

2) What is best for you? Another common default in making choices, is to make them based on what's best for everybody else. (This is related to the "should" syndrome.) But, your true decisions come from knowing what is best for you. Herein lies a challenge for many people because they've been so focused on what's best for everyone else, that they don't even know what's best for them. This will take some inner inquiry to first identify what is truly best for YOU, and then make your decisions from that place.

3) What is your higher self saying to you? Sometimes when you're making a choice, it's easy to get bogged down in the practicality and the details of the choice. Your perspective can become distorted if you look at the decision too closely. It helps tremendously to rise above the situation, to a higher perspective (that of your higher self) to be able to see everything that's at play regarding your decision. From that elevated perspective it gets much easier to see clearly and make decisions from a larger perspective rather than from the immediate situation in front of you.

These three questions are ones I use for myself when I'm faced with choices in my life and business. They are very powerful tools for self-reflection and self-understanding that will lead you to making decisions that are fully aligned with your highest and best self. It is from that place WITHIN YOU that you'll get what you need to experience all of the freedom (and success) you desire.

Enhance business through a trade show

Trade shows play an important role in enhancing the business. Especially, in this era, when the world has become a global village, it is very important for you to exhibit your products in a trade show. A million dollar question is "how can you get maximum benefit from a trade show"? Here are some tips that you can follow to make your exhibition in a trade show a success: By doing your research, you can select the best show for business development. You should consult with your colleagues who have attended the same show before you make final plans. You should read the promotional brochures as soon as they arrive. You should try to take advantage of early-bird discounts on booth space, travel and hotel accommodations. Try your best to book a booth in a busy aisle near a big corporate booth because it will attract lots of traffic. You should read exhibitor's kit carefully, when you receive it. The reason is that you have to fill out many confusing forms. You have to deal with two or more companies when you opt for a trade show; one of them is producing the conference and the other is responsible for renting equipment, phone lines and electrical power. If your budget does not allow you to buy a custom display, you should be creative and make one on your own. By creating a realistic budget; you can handle all the hassle that is going to happen in a convenient way. You should consider travel expenses, ground transportation, accommodations, meals, and snacks etc. You should create a press kit or a press release and make sure that it gets into the press room. You can distribute it at the press conferences as well. You can ask the show's press reps to arrange introductions to the reporters who are covering the show. You should not work in the booth for the whole day. You should walk on the floor to make contacts with the industry people. By bringing a supply of chocolate or mints, you can attract the customers to your stall. At trade shows, you should bring your friendliest employees. You should have high-energy, happy people in your booth. If you want to exhibit your products in a trade show, you should do extensive research to make your visit to the trade show a success one.

The “You” Brand

Marketing is not easy. In fact, it takes a lot of time, patience and resources before you can even have an effective ad in your label printing and sticker printing for example. Some may have a not so hard time doing it, but most often, attracting people to your business needs hard work and diligence from you.

When attracting people there’s one thing you need to do in order for you to generate as many leads as you want. Who are you? Do people know who and what you can do for them? Before you can even have the impact you would want to have from your target audience, you need to find out first the image that is YOU. It’s actually promoting the YOU brand.

Always remember that when you market your business, your product and services, what you’re actually promoting is you. People will not be looking at your business per se. Rather, they would be wanting to know more of who you are and what you can do to provide them with their needs.

Prospects are captivated by those who can teach them the skills that they need. People in general are attracted to leaders; those who can guide them become successful business owners themselves.

So whether you’re marketing on the phone, face to face, or distributing your promotional giveaways such as your label printing and sticker printing, you need to always focus on you – your type of brand, your image. Don’t emphasize too much on your business as your prospects will not focus that much on it either. Lead and guide them with the brand that is you.

That means then that in everything you do you have to tell them who you are. Sound confident and come through as someone who knows his or her stuff. People usually gravitate to experts that they would generally go for someone who is knowledgeable. They are more likely to remember someone who can provide them with more information than someone who doesn’t know anything when asked for solutions.

People would want to be confident that the person they put their trust on is someone who can walk the talk. Not only can you provide lip service but you actually deliver on your promises. If you can provide them that then you’re more than likely to get their respect and their hard earned money. They trust you because they know you can give them what they want. And that’s how you can build your relationships with your clients – a relationship that can last for many years.

BizHub Office Technology of Today - And Tomorrow

Gone are the days when the office photocopier was treated with awe, occupied a department of it's own and was the size of a bus! The introduction of microchip technology has greatly reduced the size of photocopier machines and laser technology, combined with improved toner units, now provides excellent quality reproductive imaging. Speeds, efficiency and reliability are all enhanced by huge improvements to the feed mechanisms. During this same period of evolution for office copiers, the facsimile machine became commonplace, PC and office networks became integral tools of managing most businesses and desktop publishing has been adopted as an in-house practice.

Office copiers have evolved alongside most other office equipment to keep pace with modern business's technical requirements. The traditional photocopiers have been redesigned by their manufacturers to respond to today's business needs, creating a business hub capable of far more than the traditional black and white photocopier. As offices replace their photocopying equipment, companies are seeking to introduce more advanced technology to keep pace with their everyday needs. Separate, and costly, pieces of equipment providing photocopies, fax, inkjet printers, small laser printers and scanners are being replaced by one piece of office equipment which encompasses all of these functions in a far more efficient manner. The modern and efficient office now utilises a Business Hub unit, incorporating all of the required functions and networked into the office computer server.

Rents and overheads on office accommodation continue to rise, making each square metre of floor space valuable and accountable. Accommodating individual photocopiers, desk top printers, scanners, fax machines, etc., is not only wasteful on space, it is also wasteful on cost, time and facilities. The dilemma of space, individually allocated equipment and efficient use of time is solved by the introduction of a central 'Biz-Hub' unit. The single multi-function unit reduces the needs for trailing cables to supply power, telephone connections, PC cabling and gives efficient use of printing, copying, faxing and scanning facilities throughout the whole office. The multifunction BizHub technology is environmentally friendly and created in a design that will aesthetically compliment the vast majority of office furnishings and decoration.

BizHub equipment is at the forefront of office facilities and technological development. Printing and copy quality on both black and white and colour is excellent, with finite colour balancing, density where it is needed, combined with crisp sharp lines and type. A BizHub operates as the central networked printing facility for all of the workstations, removing the need for individual (and costly) inkjets and small printers being scattered around each office area. Excellent quality in-built scanners provide the facility for loading documents and pictures into the networked computer system and can be utilised to upload to the internet via HTTP language, or scan directly to email or fax. The BizHub inbuilt fax facility enables documents to be transmitted direct from file, removing the need to produce printed copies prior to fax transmission, or provides the facility for scanned documents to be retrieved and directly transmitted by fax, or can be accessed via the computer network to allow users to create and send fax transmissions directly from their individual workstation. Print speeds of up to 65 colour pages per minute are standard on some models, whilst document duplexing (double sided printing) and a wide range of finishing and binding facilities can be incorporated into the equipment. All of this wide range of facilities can be accessed and controlled from any network workstation or directly at the BizHub's easily operated touch-screen control panel.

Most BizHub models are supplied with an in-build 60GB hard drive as standard, which gives the opportunity for documents and images to be stored at the equipment, ready for recall for standard jobs which can be printed 'on demand'. If coupled with commercially available software, the Bizhub system will be easily integrated into a document storage and retrieval system for any size of business, giving the opportunity of a truly paperless office.

Servicing and maintenance of the BizHub equipment has been finely honed to provide the most efficient and cost-effective facilities ever available on office equipment. Suppliers and dealers are able to incorporate a 'remote care' equipment monitoring facility which automatically advises requirements for machine toner, consumable parts, fault diagnosis (on most occasions before the user is aware of the fault) and monitors copy speeds and quality to adjust or advise deterioration. All of this equipment diagnosis is advised directly to the dealer's service centre, giving a more efficient response time and very little down time at the location. With this excellent facility, which is completely separate from any other data in the machine, the BizHub equipment experiences minimal interruption to it's day-to-day operation due to failure or lack of any consumable parts, meaning that service engineer's calls are conveniently scheduled to provide preventative maintenance.

Each BizHub digital printer, copier, fax and scanner is capable of providing for all of the office documentation needs at one central point, networked into the office computer system. The BizHubs prove to be economical in all aspects of their operation and have become an essential piece of equipment in the efficient office environment of today, and tomorrow.
